About Dr. Swan
Chad R. Swan, M.D. of Swan Surgical, PLLC specializes in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. Dr. Swan is board certified in three specialties: Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, Board Certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, and Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is also actively involved in the American College of Surgeons, the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Vascular Surgery, and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
Dr. Swan completed fellowships in both vascular surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at the Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina. Prior to that, he completed a General Surgery residency at St. Joseph hospital in Houston, TX and received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Anthropology from Tulane University.
